Submission Guidelines

Please prepare submissions following the guidelines given by IEEE at the Manuscript Templates for Conference Proceedings. Page limits are

  • 6 pages for workshop papers
  • 4 pages for posters and demos
  • 6 pages for special sessions

Submission

Please submit your contribution using EasyChair at www.easychair.org/conferences/?conf=cbmi2014

Camera Ready Papers

For the final papers please make sure you follow the procedure outlined below:

  1. Make sure you use the IEEE templates (please use this very link)
  2. Add the following copyright (without quotes for non-US and non-Crown governments) to the bottom of the first page (**):
    “978-1-4799-3990-9/14/$31.00 ©2014 IEEE”
    see also other IEEE publications for examples, ie. from the last CBMI like this here.

    1. For papers in which all authors are employed by the US government, the copyright notice is:
      “U.S. Government work not protected by U.S. copyright”
    2. For papers in which all authors are employed by a Crown government (UK, Canada, and Australia), the copyright notice is:
      “978-1-4799-3990-9/14/$31.00 ©2014 Crown”
  3. Proofread your source document thoroughly to confirm that it will require no revision.
  4. Log in to the IEEE PDF eXpress™ site (use link from your email) and follow the instructions from the email.
  5. Upload the PDF checked or created by IEEE PDF eXpress™ unaltered to easychair (proceedings).
  6. Make sure one author has registered with a full registration per paper by May 5, 2014.
  7. Finally, make sure you submitted the copyright agreement.
    1. Download the copyright form & fill in author names and title: CBMI IEEE Copyright FORM (PDF)
    2. Print & read the form carefully, fill all necessary fields and sign it.
    3. Send the scanned, filled, and signed form to cbmi2014@itec.aau.at (as PDF or JPG file) stating “CBMI COPYRIGHT STATEMENT Paper ##” in the subject (replace ## with your paper id).

 

(**) For putting the copyright line into a LaTeX document you’ll need the following commands before the \maketitle command:

according to IEEEtran_HOWTO.pdf, the HowTo, that comes with the templates,

“… \IEEEpubidadjcol must be issued somewhere in the second column of the title page. …”
